Latest Generation Educational Products "Powered by SIVECO" at BETT 2012
SIVECO Romania reconfirms its positions as eLearning leader, at the largest educational fair in the world.
Bucharest, Romania, January 25, 2012 --(PR.com)-- From 11th to 14th of January, London has hosted the most important event worldwide dedicated to technology in education, BETT Show 2012. Over 600 companies have presented the most innovative solutions for education in the 21 century that have attracted 30,000 visitors from around the world.
Already a well -known name on the international market for eLearning, SIVECO Romania has partaken this year to present its innovations in terms of educational content on multi–touch devices and augmented reality.
“The products developed by our company are successfully used by over 15 million beneficiaries on three continents and we wish to become a world reference name in the development of eLearning solutions. SIVECO Romania is a promoter in adapting the latest generation technology for education and is a notorious presence at this type of events,” says Florian Ciolacu, Vice-President International Sales and Partners within SIVECO Romania.
This year, SIVECO Romania has participated at BETT London in partnership with the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates, with whom it has signed a strategic agreement, including the exchange of experience and good practices, organization of seminars and workshops for disseminating eLearning, participation in conferences and scientific events.
“We are proud that the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates considers us as a reliable partner. We have participated together at BETT in order to disseminate the eLearning projects for good practice, implemented by us ever since 2009 in Emirate schools. Currently, the pupils and teachers in the Emirates have at their disposal the most extended digital library of educational content in Arabic, comprising of over 7,000 individual learning objects for mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geography and patriotic studies,” declares Alexandru Coşbuc, Vice-President International sales within SIVECO Romania.
Leader in the field of educational solutions, SIVECO Romania is running complex eLearning projects in countries from Europe, Middle East, Near East and the CIS area. The company’s international sales managers have had, along with the representatives of the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates, the honor to benefit at the SIVECO stand at BETT 2012, from the visit of the ministers of education in Qatar and Oman, respectively.
As every year, at BETT London there have taken place launches of revolutionary educational products encouraging the use of modern technology for improving education, adjusted to the requirements of the knowledge based society.
Within the exhibition, SIVECO Romania has presented an interactive educational application that can be viewed on multi-touch devices. The AeL educational content allows the full palm control, with several fingers by one or several users at the same time.
Also, SIVECO Romania has presented Augmented Reality, an educational solution providing the most advanced learning experience. Augmented Reality allows for the interaction between the user and a virtual object, whose movement can be controlled by the user and replicated through digital sensors in real time. Using only the video camera and a computer, the users can very easily handle various virtual educational objects.
