A new overhead, or sectional type garage door will make a world of difference! Even if you are just thinking about a basic model, at least it will have a modern appearance,” he said
Moore said that it is important to make sure the new garage door fits the style of the home.
“It is important to make sure that the new garage door fits the style of the home, though. I have seen some garage door replacement jobs that the home owners must have only considered what the doors looked like and never considered what they would do to the appeal of their home,” he continues.
“One example was an old ranch style house with a basement garage on the end of the house. They installed some beautiful stained wood carriage house garage doors with decorative glass. The new doors were beautiful, but they did nothing for the home! A couple of nice ranch panel insulated garage doors would have been a much wiser choice, for not only aesthetics, but practicality as well,” Moore said.
