Thompson & Knight Partner Appointed to State Commission on Judicial Conduct
Houston, TX, January 29, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is proud to announce Partner Ricky A. Raven has been appointed to the State Commission on Judicial Conduct for the State of Texas. Raven will serve a six-year term, which begins this year.
Raven is a Partner in Thompson & Knight’s Trial Practice Group in Houston. He focuses his practice on civil litigation, toxic tort, products liability, personal injury, and white collar criminal defense. He has more than 25 years of experience in the resolution of complex litigation involving multiple plaintiffs and multiple defendants, as well as in handling single-party disputes, and he has first-chaired more than 100 jury trials to verdict.
Raven is a member of Thompson & Knight’s Houston Office Executive Committee and Diversity and Inclusion Committee. He is involved in numerous professional and civic organizations and has been named to The Best Lawyers in America® by Woodward/White Inc., Texas Super Lawyers® by Thomson Reuters, and Lawdragon 500 “Leading Lawyers in America” by Lawdragon Inc. for multiple years.
