3rd Annual New Media Film Festival
Los Angeles, CA, January 29, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Emmy and Two Time Golden Globe Nominee Matthew Modine’s pic Jesus Was a Commie and Golden Globe & Grammy Nominee Tom Keane’s Perfect Two are early selections for 3rd Annual New Media Film Festival Los Angeles.
The Best in New Media … Honoring Stories Worth Telling.
Landmark Theatre Westside will be the home for the 3rd Annual New Media Film Festival Los Angeles June 12th & 13th 2012. Call for entries are being accepted through May 1st and an early programming announcement includes selections from UK, Singapore, USA, South Korea, Vietnam and Taiwan.
Emmy and Two Time Golden Globe Nominee Matthew Modine’s Jesus Was A Commie will screen in the SRC-Socially Responsible Content Category of New Media Film Festival. Directed by Terence Ziegler (Directorial Debut) and Matthew Modine. Jesus Was a Commie elegantly and intelligently captures an audience desperate to understand what is happening across our country. Using unambiguous language that openly presents two swamplands America is presently bogged down in: environmental degradation and partisanship. Actor Matthew Modine's words are as plain and simple as a parable from his film's title character. Jesus Was a Commie is an avant-garde dialectical conversation about the world and the prominent issues of modern society.
Golden Globe and Grammy Nominee Tom Keane, Music Produced “Perfect Two” a Music Video that was on the world DVD release of "Hoodwinked, Too" the animated feature film. Keane has been awarded a Grammy nomination for Though The Fire, which he co-wrote with David Foster and Cynthia Weil (You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling) and a Golden Globe nomination for The Secret of My Success soundtrack will screen as part of the Music Video Category.
Judging by Pixar, ILM (Industrial Light & Magic) and Industry Leaders such as Two Time Gemini Award Winner Ron Proulx (“Oscar’s” of Canada) for the music video category.
