Satellite Music Group Signs First Artist, Begins Production on Debut Album

Washington, DC, January 31, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Satellite Music Group is pleased to announce the official signing of their first artist development contract with local rock/post-hardcore act Famous For A Century.

Satellite Music Group is the culmination of more than ten years of experience in the local music scene coming together with the sole purpose of helping local and beginning artists maximize their potential. Through the strategic use of songwriting workshops, extensive demoing and collaboration with SMG producers, a cohesive image & branding campaign and other programs, artist on SMG's roster are developed and nurtured in an ego-less learning environment and are given every tool necessary to succeed in the music industry. Satellite Music Group routinely associates with local and out of state professionals for mixing/mastering, production and sometimes simply a second opinion.

Satellite Music Group was started by producer/engineer and musician Pete Fraedrich. With a combined experience of over ten years, Fraedrich can offer insights into the industry that only come with experience.
