J Marketing Hires New Art Director

Colleyville, TX, May 13, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Further enhancing it’s efforts to provide the very best professional marketing, design and PR services to our community, the J Marketing Corporation (publishers of Inside Colleyville Magazine) proudly announces the recent expansion of their marketing and design staff.

As the new Art Director at J Marketing and Inside Colleyville Magazine, Pete Ivy will work closely with the senior staff and directly with clients and advertisers to develop effective marketing plans, graphic design and knock-your-socks-off corporate communications.

A native of North Texas, Mr. Ivy started his professional design career in 2000. His first job was as a design professional at a newspaper in Decatur, Texas, The Wise County Messenger. “The Messenger was filled with wonderful people that I miss working with to this day.” says Ivy.

“I was with the Messenger for four years before becoming a marketing assistant at James Wood Motors”. At James Woods, Pete was deeply involved in every aspect of the entire marketing plan, including television, print, radio, and website design and development.

“A little over three years ago, I decided I needed some more adventure in my life, so I decided to pack up and move to Ventura, California”, says Ivy, where he found a position as a senior graphic designer. “During that time, my business skills evolved into much more than just graphic design. I was responsible for following every project through from the conceptualization, all the way to completion.”

Pete’s work ethic is outstanding, and he brings incredible talent and experience to our firm.”

Pete enjoys mountain biking, hiking, camping, surfing, rock climbing, beach volleyball and most anything outdoor related. He is also known to show up at open mic nights to play guitar from time to time. Pete is eager to point out, “My passion is graphic design, and I am excited to be joining the design team at J Marketing! Look out Texas, I’m back. Whoop!”
