Respected Author and Religion Expert Carol Orsborn, Ph.D. Joins Coro Health as Executive Director of CoroFaith

Coro Health announced today that internationally respected author and thought leader Carol Orsborn, Ph.D. has been named Executive Director of CoroFaith, a unique audio-based wellness offering providing individualized spiritual continuity for the long-term care and aging-in-place communities.
Orsborn has published 21 books translated into 15 languages including The Art of Resilience (Random House), Nothing Left Unsaid (Conari) and Fierce with Age (Spring, 2012). She has also has appeared on Oprah, NBC Nightly News and The Today Show, as well as in People Magazine, The New York Times and Huffington Post, among others.
CoroFaith draws from over 1000 hours of prayers, sermons, daily scripture, education, meditation, interactive spiritual exercises and more from a broad spectrum of traditions and beliefs. Based on a simple assessment, CoroFaith builds a customized library for the individual allowing them to select what, when and where to engage. In all, CoroFaith provides access to 12,000 religious communities.

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Orsborn received her Masters of Theological Studies and Doctorate in History and Critical Theory of Religion from Vanderbilt University. Her areas of expertise include adult development and ritual studies, specializing in life stage issues relating to individuals at midlife and beyond. Dr. Orsborn’s post-doctoral work includes training in spiritual counseling at the New Seminary for Interfaith Studies in Manhattan, Stillpoint and the Spirituality Center at Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles. She has served as adjunct faculty for Georgetown, Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount Universities.
