NARI Holds Successful 2012 Annual Contractor Trade Show
Annual NARI Contractor Trade Show 2012
Melville, NY, February 02, 2012 --(PR.com)-- NARI, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry held their Annual Contractor Trade Show on Monday, January 23, 2012, at the Cradle of Aviation, in Garden City, New York. This year’s well-attended show featured over 80 exhibitors. NARI also enjoyed the extreme privilege of having Chief Deputy County Executive, Rob Walker, join us for the ribbon cutting. This was a lively start to the show!
At the NARI Contractor Trade Show, attendees enjoyed free admission, a free hot buffet, free seminars and free parking. Additionally, there were a host of educational seminars that ran throughout the day. They touched on the following topics: Air, Water & Moisture Management in Commercial Building Envelopes, New Approach to Green Building Caulks, Sealants & Adhesives, and Exterior Doors and the Battle Against Moisture.
One of the noted presentations of the day came from Mike Sloggatt, writer for Journal of Light Construction Magazine, and presenter of numerous educational seminars at the JLC shows, the International Builders Show and many others. His presentation was titled “Building Envelope and Energy Codes.” Trade Show attendees were thrilled to have attended these amazing educational opportunities.
“As one of the largest NARI chapters in the country, we take pride in providing this unique free show to Metro New York and Long Island contractors,” noted Lesa Dresher, executive Director for the New York City/Long Island NARI Chapter.
Numerous other exhibitors stated that the NARI Contractor Trade Show is a place to display your services and products to the 600+ contractors in attendance.
