Cannon Group Appoints Eric Russo as VP of Sales and Marketing
Former Director of Sales Eric Russo will oversee the Cannon Group's increasing marketing efforts.
Blue Bell, PA, February 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- As the new Vice President of Sales and Marketing, former Director of Sales Eric Russo will add his expertise to the Cannon Group staff. He will take charge of organizing Cannon Group’s increasing sales and marketing drive.
He joins Cannon Group from VCE, a Cloud computing company where he led America’s Sales for Service Providers and Systems Integrators. There, he established the go-to market sales strategy, which culminated in key beach head wins at customers in the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
Prior to VCE, Russo worked at Symantec, selling Symantec Solutions into and through large US-based service providers. He had a pivotal role in helping Symantec identify new growth areas, driving the adoption of Symantec solutions for use in service provider revenue-generating services.
Russo also held sales leadership roles at several other firms, including Cisco Systems. In his 9 years at Cisco, Eric held various roles on the Service Provider team, including a 5-year tenure as the sales leader responsible for Verizon Wireless.
Russo holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Business Administration from Villanova University. He is married and has two small children.
