Author Donates 100% of Book Proceeds to Animal Shelter

Houston, TX, February 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- In order to assist Blue Paws Animal Shelter, primarily a trap-neuter-return (TNR) rescue, L.R. Williamson will donate all proceeds from the book, Prairie Springs, generated during the month of February.

The author became aware of Blue Paws when his sister used them to adopt a blind kitten. The rescue is in constant need of funding, since so many of the animals they rescue have at least one disability and require surgeries and/or rehabilitation.

The price of Prairie Springs has been lowered to $.99 for the month of February in the iTunes store, Amazon’s Kindle, and at Smashwords.com. The paperback versions sold through Amazon will also count towards the author’s goal of raising $1,000.
