Boyd, who received both her undergraduate and Juris Doctorate degrees from the Ohio State University, spent more than two years in the Glendale prosecutor’s office, reviewing and preparing motions, plea agreements and trials.
Prior to joining the prosecutor’s office, Boyd clerked for the United States Attorney’s Office in Columbus, Ohio and interned with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. She also served as a summer law clerk for The Plymale Partnership in Columbus, Ohio, and interned with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.
While attending the Ohio State University, Boyd served as the chief managing editor of the Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law and the president of the Criminal Law Society. She graduated magna cum laude with honors and holds bachelor of arts degrees in Criminology and Sociology.
