W.R. Benton Releases New Book

Rolla, MO, May 16, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Saga Books announces the release of W. R. Benton's new book, "Missouri in Flames, I Rode with Jesse James."

Western Fiction Author W. R. Benton has released his tenth book and a short synopsis follows:

Surviving four long and bloody years fighting for the Confederacy during the Civil War, James Light served under partisan leader William Quantrill and the black flag. It was with the raiders he meets Jesse and Frank James, as well as Cole Younger. Little did he realize the impact these hard and honorable men were to have on the rest of his life.

This book uses character Jim Light to tell the historical story of Jesse James and his life, as well as some Missouri tall tales of the famous outlaw. Researched and at times humorous, it is fill with adventure. While primarily fiction, it does touch on the Northflield raid, Jesse's death, and Frank James as well.
