New York, NY, February 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- François-Frédéric Guy in Recital: Beethoven, Bach & Brahms Available on DVD Feb. 28
Kultur is proud to announce the release of François-Frédéric Guy in Recital: Beethoven, Bach & Brahms available on DVD February 28, 2012.
Since his induction with the Paris Orchestra under the direction of Wolfgang Sawallisch and followed by a live recording of the Brahms Second Concerto with Paavo Berglund and the London Philharmonic, François-Frédéric Guy has progressively established himself as one of the great paints on the world stage.
His passion for opera and symphonic music coupled with a willingness to take risks, lead him to choose, among the vast ocean of the piano repertoire, the most complex works, including Beethoven's Hammerklavier sonata which he played more than sixty times in public and recorded twice.
This acclaimed recital, filmed live at the Serres d’Auteuil in Paris, features masterful performances of the following works:
Beethoven: Piano Sonata No. 14 in C sharp minor "Moonlight" Op. 27 No. 2
Bach: English Suite No. 1 in A Major, BWV 806 and
