OBL Announces More Expansion in Ballistic Testing Capabilities and Facilities

Salem, OR, February 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Oregon Ballistic Laboratories (OBL) announces continued expansion in the range of services provided for accurate ballistic, body armor and blast testing.

OBL is now using advanced Doppler radar technology in its ballistic, body armor and blast testing. The company uses Doppler to conduct V50 testing to MIL-STD-662F and the rigorous DEA testing for NIJ-compliant body armor.

OBL has also broken ground on a third test range to facilitate the company’s growth, accommodating body armor testing to NIJ STD 0101.06, ACH and ESAPI testing, as well as high-caliber glass and steel armor tests. OBL’s third range is scheduled to be online June 2012.
