Scorpion Performance Names Scott Reynolds as Vice President of Sales

Ocala, FL, February 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Scorpion Performance, Inc., (www.scorpionperformance.com) a precision manufacturer of automotive and marine aftermarket engine components for high performance and racing applications, has appointed Scott Reynolds as Vice President of Sales. Mr. Reynolds, who is also Scorpion’s Vice President of Marketing, now oversees all of the Company’s sales and promotional marketing efforts.

With 30 years of leadership experience in large corporate marketing departments, a full-service advertising agency and his own successful advertising and marketing firm, Mr. Reynolds brings strategic, tactical and operational sales and marketing expertise to Scorpion Performance. Mr. Reynolds has created numerous successful business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing campaigns for both profit and non-profit organizations while managing annual marketing budgets up to $12 million. Mr. Reynolds also served on the Broward County, Florida School Board as Advertising and Marketing Scholastic Program Advisor.

Mr. Reynolds’ career began in 1982 at a multinational corporation, Carvel Ice Cream, where he served as National Art Director. Following the sale of Carvel to a South African conglomerate, Mr. Reynolds was recruited by a full-service advertising agency, Advisors Inc., where he led both the creative and new business development teams. Mr. Reynolds then opened his own successful advertising and marketing firm, Reynolds Roberts Creative, where he served as President and Creative Director for six years. In 1995, Mr. Reynolds was presented with an opportunity to build and manage a new in-house advertising and marketing department within a $2 billion corporation, the Ed Morse Automotive Group. In his Advertising Manager position Mr. Reynolds managed the advertising and marketing for 32 retail automotive dealerships throughout Florida and Alabama. Mr. Reynolds moved to Scorpion Performance, Inc. in 2008 as Vice President of Marketing. Today, Mr. Reynolds also serves as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for two other Scorpion-owned companies, Scorpion Racing Products (www.scorpionracingproducts.com) and Scorpion Medical, Inc. Mr. Reynolds holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, as well as two Associate degrees, one in Advertising and another in Liberal Arts. Mr. Reynolds graduated with academic honors with every degree. Mr. Reynolds also studied Design Theory with world-renowned graphic designer Milton Glaser at the School of Visual Arts in New York, New York, and Promotional Marketing at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. Mr. Reynolds’ accolades include 47 ADDY Awards for excellence in advertising, among numerous other professional awards of recognition.
