Westfield Broward to host Miss Broward County USA Pageant on February 11, 2012
Local children, teens and young adults will be competing in the Miss Broward County USA, Miss Broward County Teen USA and Miss Broward County USA Princesses Pageant at Westfield Brwoard mall.
Plantation, FL, February 08, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Local children, teens and young adults will be competing in the Miss Broward County USA, Miss Broward County Teen USA and Miss Broward County USA Princesses Pageant on Saturday, February 11, 2012 in the jcpenney Court, at Westfield Broward mall. The event begins at 4 p.m and the deadline to enter is February 5, 2012. Winners in the Teen/Miss division will advance to Miss Florida USA & Miss Florida Teen USA, where the Teen winner will win a $40,000.00 scholarship to Nova Southeastern University.
“Westfield Broward is proud to host this pageant as it is a perfect opportunity for young women to represent their city or region and get involved in their community,” said Connie Stankivicz, Westfield Broward General Manager.
The pageant at Westfield Broward mall is open to girls, 5 to 12 years, 13-18 years and 19 – 26 years. There are (3) categories of competition in which each contestant will be judged: personality, swimsuit, and evening gown. Each category counts equally. There is no performing talent required.
“I have fond memories of judging the Miss Teen USA state finals several years ago and wanted to bring the event to our community and shopping center,” said Andrew Martineau, Westfield Broward Director, Marketing.
