Gastonia Based Alliance Bank & Trust Grows Executive Staff

Gastonia, NC, February 10, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Alliance Bank & Trust, a North Carolina community bank with branches in Gastonia, Shelby, and Kings Mountain, announced an addition to their executive staff today.

Beginning in February of this year, Paul Price of Harrisonburg Virginia, will be joining the executive staff as the new Chief Information Officer. Mr. Price is leaving his position with Brown Edwards and Company, LLP where he was responsible for IT auditing, disaster recovery planning, IT security planning and controls.

Mr. Price is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelors degree in accounting. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor, (CISA) and is preparing for, and eligible to sit for the North Carolina Certified Public Accountant exam. Price has previously worked with Capital One Financial, Ernst & Young, and First Union National Bank of Roanoke Virginia.

Alliance Bank & Trust continues to grow regionally, and with the addition of more executive level staff such as Mr. Price, the bank is continuing to expand into the area of technical security to better serve their growing customer base.
