Valentines day is the day where we send each other sweet postcards and presents. Every year we ask "What kind of post postcard should I send?" and "what present should I give?" The Dutch company Appventurist combined both elements in one app. CUPIDEAU is a gift to your love and a personal message in one. The app uses GPS to tell you how close you are to your soulmate. A beating heart displaying the distance in metres reflects your closeness - and the heart beats faster when your really close.

You can download CUPIDEAU just before Valentines-day. After downloading you can log in in and will be able to make a joint password. By sending your virtual post card to your love your partner will be able to download the app too. In the background Appventurist is busy developing CUPIDEAUS (secret virtual love notes) on GPS locations on the map and they are working on an "Kiss." There’s definitely more to come.
At first instance CUPIDEAU will only be available for Iphone, and a version for Android and Windows Phone is in the making at AppTown.nl. Then it will be possible to send a CUPIDEAU to your love across different platforms.
