Noir La Modé In conjunction with the Urban League of LI Young Professionals, launches a spectacular 3 day run of events to benefit charities Agape Haven of Abundance and The Urban League of LI. Which kicks off from February 17, 2012.

Noir La Modé, a new premiere events arena which fills a void in the industry connecting diverse fashion designers to media industry professionals and consumers, while juggling fashion, design, and the arts.
Events Schedule:
February 17th: Fashion Facts- Hempstead NY- Venue: African American Museum Auditorium. (6pm-8pm)
An inspirational workshop dedicated to the youth (13-18 yrs) wanting to break into the industry. Featuring an expert panel dedicated to at- risk youth.
February 18th: Noir La Modé Fashion Soirée Celebration- Hempstead, NY- Venue: African American Museum- 6pm-11pm
Red carpet soiree & Cocktail reception showcasing diverse designers

February 19th: - Westbury, NY- Venue: The Source Mall - 11am-7pm
“Noir la Modé Pop up store where consumers can shop for a good cause. Accessorized Granted: An intimate event for accessory designers to be seen and heard. (A suggested $5 dollar donation entry fee event) Entertainment for the whole entire family. Games, give a ways and more.
These events are strategically timed and coincide with the end of New York Fashion week and Black History month to allow Noir La Modé’s fashion crazed followers to openly celebrate black culture; it’s history and ethnic diversity while at the same time engaged in the magical world of intricate design, bold patterns, delicious textures, and luxurious colors.
Noir La Modé’s event partners are Nassau Financial Federal Credit, Whole Foods, Atlantic Audi, IShine-Yahoo, Stellar.Tv, Monster, Style Blazer, African American Museum and LI Pulse Magazine.
Noir La Modé gives future designers an educational ride, learning the importance of what different cultures have added to the fashion industry, understand the importance of “giving” back to its community. Also allowing you to be inspired by the fruitful mix of diversity that have transformed international runways and design to date. From elaborate gowns to quirky hats, yummy gems and sparkly heels, Noir La Modé gives multi-cultural designers a chance to make a “dent” in the fashion industry.
This roller coaster event will be traveling to Miami, Atlanta, DC, London and who knows where else in 2013. No show will never be the same.
Noir la Modé – A platform which offers a A la Carte platter of delights, captivating the very essence of fashion, design, and the arts, garnishing with simulating educational spice.
