f8 Photo Studios Shoots WakeMed Cary's "Crystal Ball Gala"

Raleigh, NC, May 17, 2007 --(PR.com)-- f8 Photo Studios in Raleigh served as photographer of record for WakeMed Cary Hospital’s annual Cary Crystal Ball gala fundraiser held recently at Prestonwood Country Club and sponsored by the WakeMed Foundation. This is the second year f8 partners Cara Grace Galati and Jonathan Kaz have documented the event.

According to the sponsors, more than 300 people attended the black-tie gala to celebrate the hospital’s success and contribute $175,000 to benefit expansions and renovations. Since WakeMed Cary opened 15 years ago, it has already tripled in size. The Crystal Ball also paid tribute to its seven medical staff presidents, past and present.

“Jonathan and I are really starting to feel like a part of the WakeMed family,” Galati said recently. “It is a great feeling when you shoot so many of these events and everyone knows your name. We have worked hard to build our relationship with WakeMed and they know that they can count on us to consistently produce wonderful images.”

The evening included music by the Cotton Club All Stars. The event was co-chaired by Virginia and Michael Anthony, MD.
