Just Eat Teams Up with Second Harvest for Lunch Money Day on February 16, 2012
Just Eat Canada lends a hand on Lunch Money Day by making Corporate Catering easier than ever through www.Just-Eat.ca
Toronto, Canada, February 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- On February 16, 2012, thousands of participants across Toronto will take part in Second Harvest’s annual Lunch Money Day. This grassroots campaign asks Torontonians to donate the equivalent of their lunch money to Second Harvest to help feed Toronto’s hungry. This year, Just-Eat.ca has teamed up with Second Harvest to make it easier for participating fundraising teams and companies to throw a Lunch Money Day fundraiser.
Using Just-Eat.ca’s Corporate Catering service, companies can easily order food online from dozens of restaurants in their area, no matter the size: from small groups to large corporations. The benefits of ordering food online through Just-Eat.ca: multiple people can view the menu; catering menus are available for large groups; you can review your order as you go; pay by credit card, debit or cash; then have it all delivered at any time specified.
To lend a hand for Lunch Money Day, Just-Eat.ca, via its All Eats Volunteer Program, will also be offering a 15% off discount for participating groups as well as a grand prize of free lunch for a year for one of the top fundraising teams. Citywide, a portion of all food orders made on Lunch Money Day in Toronto through Just-Eat.ca will also go towards Second Harvest initiatives. Dozens of Toronto restaurants will also be participating by accepting donations on behalf of Second Harvest in their restaurants. On the ground, teams of Just-Eat volunteers will also be in TTC Subway stations on behalf of Second Harvest to create awareness and ask for donations on Lunch Money Day.
Even though Lunch Money Day is this Thursday, it’s not too late for companies or groups to sign up and participate in this great cause – not to mention enjoy a 15% off discount for lunch next week.
