Cruise Experts Travel’s “Send Me on the Norwegian Epic” Video Contest

Vancouver, Canada, February 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Cruise Experts Travel is holding a contest to give away a free cruise for two in the Mediterranean this year. Partnering with Norwegian Cruise Line, the prize includes a cruise for two aboard the Epic in a balcony stateroom, one night hotel accommodation in Barcelona with breakfast included, ground transportation to/from the destination airport and point of embarkation/debarkation, and roundtrip air to Barcelona from New York City.

Eligible contestants are asked to submit a YouTube video showing why they want to go on the Epic cruise. Videos will be posted on the agency’s website at EuropeCruiseExperts.com/EpicContest where the voting takes place starting February 15, 2012. The video with the most “Likes” wins the cruise vacation.

“We’ve made this contest fun, interactive and exciting. Contestants will want to share their videos with family, friends and social networks to get their votes. In the end, the winner is decided by the public,” said Cruise Experts Travel Chief Operating Officer, Blaine Lambert.

Entries start February 15, 2012 and close March 14, 2012 at 10 am Pacific Time. On March 15, 2012, ten finalists are announced. Five are chosen by the public and the other five by the Cruise Experts Travel panel. Voting ends April 27, 2012 at noon. The winner is announced April 30, 2012.

“The sooner you get your video submission in, the better,” said Vanny Chhan, Cruise Experts Travel’s Social Media Coordinator. “Because if your video makes it to the top ten, the like count doesn’t reset, it carries over.”
