Life, Love, Relationships & Parkinson's

A new podcast will debut in March, that will discuss having Parkinson's Disease and maintaining a healthy relationship. Hosted by the husband and wife team, Kim & Rich Rozek.

Chicago, IL, February 17, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Husband and Wife team, Kim & Rich have been broadcasting to the Parkinson's community, since 2008 with PD Talk Live. The longest running program of it's kind, thanks to coverage from Michaeljfox.org, and other foundations like, APDA, NPF, PDF. Now they begin a much needed new podcast that goes straight to the heart of the matter; Successful Relationships and Parkinson’s Disease!

Debuting the first week of March, “Life, Love, Relationships & Parkinson's” deals with living a quality life while managing your Parkinson's Disease. Kim & Rich have lived through the up and downs, and survived to talk about it. It’s been 10-years since Rich’s diagnosis. The couple have been married for 16-years and have a son.

When asked, Why this topic and why now? Kim replied, “We truly feel that there has never been a better time for a program like this. It’s so needed!” Husband and co-host, Rich added, “Several months ago we started thinking about all that we’ve been through since my diagnosis; The arguments, confusion, and at one point we almost separated! The pressure of relationships and marriages is hard enough at times, now add Parkinson’s to the mix and you’ve just increased the problems. Check out the numbers. It’s amazing how this disease has the ability to breaks-up relationships!”

This being a prerecorded program, the couple invites you to e-mail them questions or specific topics you would like them to discuss on the program. Visit the couples website at: www.parkinsons.me. The program will also be in Apple’s iTune’s Podcast Directory.

Listen to Kim & Rich Rozek as they share their experiences and insight in their usual honest, informative, entertaining way.
