Today, Statista has started a new, free infographic service. The leading German statistics database will publish up-to-date infographics every day in the fields of media and the economy. The data can be downloaded and used for free by other websites.
New York, NY, February 16, 2012 --(PR.com)-- A free infographic service from Statista now provides statistical data for German and English-speaking websites. All infographics from Statista can be downloaded and used for free by other websites. The focus of the infographics are interesting statistics on current topics in the fields of media, economy and politics.
"Every day, our graphic designers and editors put together an exciting and attractive infographic of the day," says Statista-CEO Dr. Friedrich Schwandt. "With these infographics, editors and bloggers can enhance their stories and content graphically for free." The current infographics can be downloaded at http://www.statista.com/chartoftheday/media. Editors can register for a newsletter that informs them daily about new available infographics. At the same time, an extensive archive of published graphs is also accessible for free.
The infographics service has been rigorously tested during the last two months, in order to tailor the subject choice and the range as best as possible to the demand. Participants of the test phase included, among others, the German websites Spiegel Online, Wirtschaftswoche and Horizont, as well as English-speaking websites such as Venturebeat and Mashable. A gradual widening of the subject spectrum is planned in the upcoming months.
