Fling Girl LA is a newly launched online graphic novel about love, dating and relationships. Think Sex and the City in LA instead of NYC with characters more likely to date a broke actor-slash-bartender than Mr. Big.
Los Angeles, CA, February 17, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Newly launched Fling Girl LA is a fun, comedic online graphic novel and site about a newly single girl braving the dating trenches of Los Angeles. In between issues the site, created by writer Dina Gachman and artist Amy Saaed, features guest Take 10 lists (Troian Bellisario from Pretty Little Liars and Lauren Weedman from Hung are a few of the contributors), music giveaways, and fun deals and extras.
It's an exciting time for women in comics and Fling Girl brings something fresh and new to the table. Instead of scantily clad superheroes, this is a graphic novel about real people facing some pretty funny situations that anyone who has experienced modern single life can relate to and enjoy.
You can read the first three issues on the Fling Girl site, and there is a plan in motion to turn the story and characters into a series.
