Jacksonville, FL, February 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Writers Pitch Book which connects writers with agents, editors and Hollywood producers is opening submissions for Spring 2012. The Pitch Book goes out to writers’ representatives and buyers twice annually and features pitches for fiction books, non-fiction books, and screenplays.

Since its premiere in 2009, Writers Pitch Book has featured 212 fiction, non-fiction and screenplay pitches. Pitches include the type of book or screenplay, title, description of the piece, and the writer’s biography. When agents, editors or producers find a pitch they like, they request the writer’s work through the Writers Pitch Book. Requests are processed immediately and writers receive an email with the exact materials requested. Writers then send their work directly to firms requesting it. If the request results in a deal for the writer, Writers Pitch Book takes no commission or fee.

Over 40 representatives or buyers have made 87 requests for manuscripts, synopses and/or screenplays from Writers Pitch Book writers.
