Torah Café – A Novel Approach to Jewish Education
Jacksonville will serve as the launching pad for a radical new approach to Jewish Education. Course presents a potpuurri of Jewish teachings from leading international authorities.
Jacksonville, FL, February 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Jacksonville will serve as the launching pad for a radical new approach to Jewish Education. Each week a noted Torah scholar will join Chabad of Southside via video recording for an evening of Torah Learning. Guests include world famous authors and personalities including: Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel, Kabbalist Laibl Wolf and author Manis Friedman to name a few.
Topics will run the gamut from Jewish Mysticism to Business Ethic; Jewish Culture to Geopolitics. Participants will enjoy assorted coffees and teas along with light refreshments. A brief introduction to each guest and topic, intermission for discussion and an epilogue with questions and answers adds a personal twist to this new and exciting course.
“The Torah has so many beautiful facets and perspectives on everything in life. This class is different from all other classes. There is no topic, no lecturer and no theme per se. Each week is a new journey, with a masterful tour guide into the heights and depths of the Torah,” said Rabbi Shmuli Novack, Spiritual Leader, Chabad of Southside. “This is a new kind of course and we are pleased to be on the cutting edge of Jewish Education Innovation – a Torah Smorgasbord!”
Mr. Joshua A. Kesselman, ESQ is looking forward to TORAH CAFÉ. “This course, for me, is a wonderful way to learn about a broad range of issues – and gain inspiration to open new vistas into areas that I may not even be familiar with.”
Torah Café is presented on Wednesday Evenings 7pm at Chabad of Southside. Torah Café begins on Wednesday evening March 14. Admission is free. Participants Must R.S.V.P. online.
