AAC ID Solutions Support “Walk For An Aussie Kid” Brisbane Cerebral Palsy Charity Event
Gold Coast, Australia, February 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Gold Coast based identification solutions provider, AAC ID Solutions is proud to sponsor the upcoming charity event hosted by the Leos Club of Redlands. The event will take place in Victoria Point on Sunday the 4th of March 2012.
The purpose of the event is to raise money for Australian kids with Cerebral Palsy, in order to buy them a walker (mobility device). The parents of Cerebral Palsy children normally have high ongoing care costs, and the provision of one of these amazing walkers will make a huge difference.
The day starts at 8am, with the walk commencing at 9am from the Ern Dowling Sportsfield. Participants will walk a supervised 2.5km route via Link Road, ending up at Yeo Park, next to Thompson’s Beach, Victoria Point.
The cost to register is $20 per walker, or a family of 2 adults and 2 children can join in for only $50. Registration Fees can be paid on the day. For those unable to walk, the Leos Club is happy to hear from interested volunteers.
At the end of the walk there will be games and activities including a free sausage sizzle for all registered walkers. Every walker will make a difference for this worthy cause.
AAC ID Solutions are happy to provide the wristbands worn by the participants on the day.
