The Medal Play Golf Tour Red Mountain Ranch Results

Mesa, AZ, February 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Medal Play Golf Tour visited the challenging Red Mountain Ranch Golf Club Saturday on a perfect day for golf. “The weather was perfect today and the course was in great condition,” commented tour director Blane Freytag. “The club rolled the greens on Friday which made for a very challenging course.”

Kurt Chambers of the Championship Division grinded to a net 77 for a one shot victory over fellow competitors Joe White and Bob Dillon. Both White and Dillon shot net 78’s to set up a card playoff with White winning the playoff for runner up honors.

Ron Johnson of the Gold Division was on fire on the back nine Saturday and cruised to a 6 shot victory over Carl Thackeray. Dennis Kindred took 3rd place with a net 78.

Luther Sander is on a hot streak in the Silver Division winning his second tournament in a row. This time it was by a single stroke over Thomas Exum. Matt Horner took 3rd.

The tour returns to action at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear on Saturday March 17th.
