3N2 Launches My3N2.com: A Next-Gen Platform for Online Product Customization
Orlando, FL, February 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- 3N2, an Orlando-based designer and manufacturer of high performance baseball and softball footwear and apparel, recently launched My3N2.com—an online product customizer that leverages 3D gaming technology to deliver an advanced, but easy to use, platform for product customization.
My3N2 allows customers to fully customize footwear, apparel, uniforms, and even some types of gear (such as batting gloves) with an impressive range of colors, materials and designs. Technically, My3N2 differentiates itself by leveraging a Unity 3D gaming engine to enable interactive customization using high definition 3D product models that users can view from any angle and zoom in for detail.
In addition to serving as a sandbox for customers to explore product designs, My3N2 offers a wide range of additional features, such as the ability to browse a library of user-generated designs, and share designs with friends.
3N2 CEO Sean Murphy shared that bringing My3N2 to market was no casual task; “We wanted to do something meaningful. We spent a few years really studying the market – this is not something we were going to rush. We then spent most of 2011 in design and development with the goal of creating the best online product customizer on the market.”
3N2 is currently compatible with most recent versions of Internet browsers and is geared for team customization; requiring minimum quantity purchases for most products. 3N2 plans to release a mobile version of My3N2 for iOS and Android in the fall of 2012, as well as enabling single quantity product purchases.
