Comedy fans have spoken and catapulted comedian Patrice O'Neal's posthumous stand-up comedy album Mr. P to an impressive debut at #1 on the Billboard Comedy Chart and #35 on this week's Billboard 200 chart.
New York, NY, February 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Comedy fans have spoken and catapulted comedian Patrice O'Neal's posthumous stand-up comedy album Mr. P to an impressive debut at #1 on the Billboard Comedy Chart and #35 on this week's Billboard 200 chart. Released February 7th 2012 by BSeenMedia, Mr. P is 74 new minutes of stand-up comedy from the late Patrice O'Neal that also managed to grab the #3 Indy album and the #12 Digital album spots on this week's Billboard chart.
O'Neal first gained national exposure from being a regular guest on Tough Crowd With Colin Quinn on Comedy Central. It became immediately apparent O’Neal was an uncompromising voice. Patrice hosted the ground breaking VH1 series Web Junk 20 and made appearances on Late Night With Conan O’Brien, The Late Show with David Letterman, Chappelle's Show, The Office, and The Ellen Degeneres Show, was a regular on the FOX series The Jury, and starred in Comedy Central’s animated series Shorties Watching Shorties. His film work included Head of State, 25th Hour, When in Rome and the upcoming Johnny Knoxville film formerly titled Scoutmasters. In addition, O’Neal filmed comedy specials for HBO, Comedy Central and Showtime, his most recent being the highly acclaimed Elephant in the Room. His final television appearance was his blistering performance on The Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen.
