Taylor Morrison's Southern California Division Eyes Growth in 2012, Debuting Three New Communities by July
New neighborhoods planned in highly sought after communities of San Juan Capistrano and Yorba Linda
Los Angeles, CA, February 23, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Taylor Morrison's southern California division is banking on 2012 being a banner year for the company, as it makes headlines for two recent acquisitions in Orange County and plans for three new communities - all opening in the next six months.
Taylor Morrison recently announced two large land acquisitions - a 143-lot purchase in the city of Yorba Linda and a 132-lot parcel in San Juan Capistrano. These two deals represent two of the largest land deals recorded in Orange County in recent months.
Taylor Morrison is not wasting any time readying product for their new communities, either. According to Division President Phil Bodem, the company plans on having six floor plans ranging from 2,200 to 2,600 square feet available for the May 2012 grand opening of Palisades at Vista Del Verde in Yorba Linda. Prices for the community are expected to range from the $580,000's to the low $600,000's, he said.
In San Juan Capistrano, two collections of single-family detached homes at Campanilla at San Juan Hills will be built beginning in July, with the Artisan Collection offering 98 homes ranging from 1,800 to 2,700 square feet, and the Villa Collection offering 32 homes that will range from 2,600 to 3,100 square feet. Prices for both collections have yet to be determined.
Finally, award-winning architect Robert Hidey's home designs will grace the third community opening in 2012, when Taylor Morrison's Vista Del Mar debuts in Carlsbad with 37 single-family homes ranging from 1,900 to 3,000 square feet in May 2012. Prices at Vista Del Mar, which offers distant views of the Pacific Ocean, are expected to range from the high $500,000's to the high $600,000's.
