Chesapeake Bay Coatings Announces Release of Two New Products
Baltimore, MD, February 23, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Baltimore based coatings specialist Chesapeake Bay Coatings has recently announced that they have updated their extensive product catalogue to include two new solutions for their clientele within military and federal government manufacturing. The two new products - MIL PRF 22750 High Solids Epoxy Topcoat and MIL PRF-85285D Type1 Aliphatic Polyurethane Topcoat are both available in any Federal 595 color and in quantities of one gallon or more.
The newly added MIL PRF 22750 product is a chemically cured two-component epoxy designed for application on aircraft and ground equipment within a military environment. Component A within this product contains the pigment and epoxy resin which is then blended seamlessly with component B, which is a non-pigmented Polyamine, which acts as a hardener or curing agent for component A. When these combined topcoats are applied to professionally primed substrates they can provide protection against weathering, humidity and salt spray. One of the leading benefits of the new innovative solution is that it’s chemically resistant to jet fuels, lubricating oils and hydraulic fluids. And like all Chesapeake Bay Coatings products, this new solution has been created to meet the very highest of industry standards for high/low temperature flexibility and impact resistance.
MIL PRF 85285D from Chesapeake Bay Coatings is an aerospace-grade polyurethane coating that forms a film that is resistant to chemicals, solvents and abrasion, thus providing excellent durability for modern heavy-duty industrial applications where a tough, chemically resistant coating is required for optimal results.
