Two Local Artists of North Idaho Open Their Online Shop "Midnight Travellers Art"
Midnight Travellers Art offers oil paintings to the local community and beyond that feature everything from Landscape scenery, Oceans Seascapes, Waterfalls and even abstract art.
Post Falls, ID, February 23, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Two local artists are making their way into the art scene, Kristopher Anderson and Ellen Fredrickson. Living in beautiful Northern Idaho, they draw their inspiration from the gorgeous surroundings and breathtaking scenery.
With a large variety of paintings already in their collection, they have created a one of a kind shop called Midnight Travellers Art.
"We paint together all the time, and are always feeding off of each others creativity and giving helpful suggestions. Being inspired by one another and watching new scenes form on the canvas is an amazing feeling. We are a great team," Ellen stated.
Kris and Ellen started painting a few years ago being inspired by the late Bob Ross, a traditional wet on wet oil painter. They watched his shows and learned the delicate techniques he demonstrated. Practice made perfect and they were soon able to create their own unique paintings that they now offer in their collection today.
"It's not a hard style to master as long as you are patient enough learn the techniques Bob Ross is showing you. For example, how the brush strokes are formed on the canvas and how the different thickness of paints flow onto each other. From there you can create any kind of world you want," Kris stated.
In their home in Post Falls, Kris and Ellen's walls are covered in the oil paintings they have made over the past two years. Creating art and sharing it with others is a very rewarding experience for both of them.
Midnight Travellers Art gives the local community the opportunity to see the mountains and lakes they live by, and love, portrayed timelessly on canvas and in their home. Kris and Ellen will frame and ship their paintings to art fans across the country, or hand deliver them to their local art followers.
