Breast Cancer Heroes Have a New Partner in the Fight to End Breast Cancer

Atlanta, GA, February 23, 2012 --(PR.com)-- In its 2011 report, the American Cancer Society (ACS) reported that women have a 1 in 8 chance of being diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime and men have a 1 in 1,000 chance of being diagnosed. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that in the year 2030, more than 13 million cancer-related deaths will occur worldwide. Men and women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer face an even greater challenge as rising healthcare costs, high deductibles, benefit caps, and limitations on coverage for people with preexisting conditions are obstacles in receiving necessary and timely treatment.

Pink Promise, Inc.'s objective is to support research initiatives designed to save lives and end breast cancer while supporting cancer heroes, their families, and caregivers.
