Sequoia Prompt Care Goes Mobile with iTriage Smartphone App
Visalia, CA, February 24, 2012 --(PR.com)-- People who want to sign-up for QuickPass, a service that lets you skip the waiting room at Sequoia Prompt Care, can now do so using iTriage® – a free healthcare app.
From a smartphone, iTriage lets users quickly find medical information, facilities in the area such as Sequoia Prompt Care and Kaweah Delta Urgent Care, and pre-register for care at Sequoia Prompt Care with its QuickPass. iTriage is available as a free download from app stores for iPhone® and Android™ mobile phones, and is also accessible on the Internet at www.iTriageHealth.com.
“Providing the members of our community with health care access using the most up-to-date technology is a priority,” said John Leal, Nurse Manager, Sequoia Prompt Care and Kaweah Delta Urgent Care Center.
While other Tulare County healthcare providers are accessible on iTriage only Sequoia Prompt Care offers users a pre-registration option, Leal said. “Our partnership with iTriage allows us to connect with patients at their exact time of medical need,” he said.
According to a recent survey by Intuit Health, more than 70% of patients want online access to medical providers and health information.
Adding Sequoia Prompt Care and Kaweah Delta Urgent Care to the iTriage app gives residents in Visalia and nearby communities the resources to quickly make informed decisions about where to seek medical care when minor illness and injury occur. Patients at Sequoia Prompt Care can use iTriage to sign up for a Quick Pass, allowing them to bypass the waiting room and conveniently wait at home or at work until their room is ready. iTriage also lets users do the following:
· Find Sequoia Prompt Care information like hours, services provided and directions
· Research medical symptoms and conditions
· Learn about possible causes and treatment options
· Obtain medication information for treatment of a specific condition
