International Fundraising Campaign Kicks Off to Aid Couples Facing Infertility

New York, NY, February 25, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Heather Curtis, co-founder of OhSewCrafty.com, an international, online crafting business, is launching the Support the Stork campaign. The campaign will run until May 1, 2012. Support the Stork is to aid families attempting pregnancy through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). Curtis, having successfully conceived with infertility issues herself, is on a mission to help other wonderful couples build their own families.

Support the Stork is not only merely accepting donations for IVF couples. The campaign is set to raise awareness of the expense of fertility treatments in the United States, which average more than $10,000 per treatment cycle. Infertility affects approximately 6.1 million individuals throughout the United States. Many families struggle with the financial aspect of IVF. Support the Stork will offer financial aid to those faced with infertility and trying to conceive through IVF.

Support the Stork is setting its fundraising sites to raise $20,000. “The more money we raise, the more beautiful babies can be welcomed into wonderful families,” Curtis said.
