Black Men, an Endangered Species

Announcement of film makers Quantae Love's film "Endangered Species" which deals with how police perceptions of African Americans can have deadly consequences.

Hillside, NJ, May 19, 2007 --(PR.com)-- George Cook, the owner of the web site Let's talk Honestly at www.letstalkhonestly.com, is now featuring African American film makers and their short films. The first featured film maker is Quantae Love and his controversial film "Endangered Species" which deals with how police perceive African American men and the danger it puts black men in.

Besides the movie there is a 5 minute interview in which the film maker discusses his work and his inspirations for making this film.

The story is about mistaken identity, being at the wrong place at the wrong time, affecting families every single day around the U.S. The movie has inspired many to understand that there is always more to the truth than what is shown by the media and most films of today's time. This movie is raw, holding no punches. Real as life. One of the most positive changes is that people walk away from the movie stunned, they have no words because they feel the raw truth. They learn that this really does happen. Now the question they need to ask themselves is, How come I did not see this before? Knowledge is important, so is the truth, this movie delivers both.
