Production companies have a large impact on environment which can have a significant effect on the planet in a number of ways. It is because of this that Domino Effect Productions has decided to go green. Domino Effect has chosen to make environmentally friendly decisions at every phase of production.
Some of the things Domino Effect has vowed to do as part of making their productions green include recycling and proper waste disposal, utilizing environmentally conscious hotels and other lodging, purchasing products and equipment for the shoot with the environment in mind, printing scripts and other paperwork double sided to ease the amount of paper used, serving organic foods on reusable dishware at meals and setting up carpools and encouraging the use of public transportation for all those traveling to and from the set.
A poll conducted by Monster-TRAK.com, a website for students and entry-level hires, found that 92% would be more inclined to work for a company who was environmentally friendly. 80 percent of young professionals would prefer a job that has a positive impact on the environment. In a survey conducted by the Carbon Trust, it was cited that 64% of the participants were more likely to use a business that claims to have a low carbon footprint. Small businesses can save more than $15 billion by reducing its energy consumption by 30 percent.
