Comforting Children in Crisis through the Hugs of Teddy Bears

Naples, FL, May 20, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The South West Florida Chapter of Hugs Across America distributes it’s first ever batch of teddy bears to the Naples Fire Department. Each chapter is responsible to its local area with "teddies at the ready" responding to circumstances of personal tragedy, as well as natural or national disasters.

Pamela DeMeo, who works for the Naples Fire Department, had this to say “We are very excited about this program and will assist in anyway possible!” Through the support of people like Pamela and the Naples Fire Department, Hugs Across America is able to provide comfort to children in crisis.

Several people who work for “Anchor Health Systems” in Naples have also helped immensely with donations of Teddy Bears. In addition Hugs Across America has received many donations from Naples.
