Fido, Answer the Phone - It’s Housetraining Hotline Calling. The Cultured Canine Announces Its New Telephone Consulting Service, Housetraining Hotline
Housetraining Hotline is a new dog training service offered by The Cultured Canine, owned by Diane Podolsky, CPDT-KA, CTC. Anyone, anywhere can get expert dog training advice by phone so they can successfully housetrain their puppy or dog. The company's mission is to promote the housetraining of all dogs.
White Plains, NY, March 01, 2012 --(PR.com)-- "All dogs deserve to be housetrained," opined Diane Podolsky, owner of The Cultured Canine, LLC.
The company's ambitious new mission statement is the inspiration for its latest dog training service: Housetraining Hotline.
Housetraining coaching, usually delivered in person, is now available by phone to assist people who are training a puppy or a dog to eliminate in the right place.
Housetraining Hotline is a telephone consultation service devoted to housetraining puppies and dogs. This new dog training service makes expert dog training advice from a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) available to anyone without geographic limitations.
All it takes is a telephone and PayPal account. Clients speak with an expert dog trainer about their specific case and receive personalized advice for housetraining their dog or puppy. Photos and even video of the dogs’ environment can be posted online for the dog trainer to review.
Dog lovers in the New York metro area have benefited from The Cultured Canine’s housetraining advice for years. Now any dog lover can do the same, no matter where they live or work.
Toy breed specialists
“We receive calls from clients who need to train their dogs to use a specific housetraining method: outside on grass, concrete or dirt; using artificial turf on a patio or indoors; using dog litter in a box; wee wee pads in an apartment or garage – if your dog is healthy, we can train any system you want,” said Diane Podolsky, owner of The Cultured Canine. “Sometimes dog trainers who work with large dogs are unfamiliar with the need to have cold weather alternatives for little dogs. Real dogs do use pads,” she added with a smile.
Housetraining keeps dogs in their “forever” homes
Research authored by Gary Patronek, DVM, PhD, amongst others, at the Humane Society of St. Joseph, Mishawaka, Indiana concluded that lack of housetraining is amongst the most common reasons that dogs lose their homes.
According to the National Animal Interest Alliance, 21% of dogs surrendered to shelters are there due to lack of housetraining.
Even toy breed dogs can wear their families' patience when they soil the carpet one too many times. And, of course, one can imagine the hygiene problem created when there are traces of feces and urine on floors, carpets, even in the kitchen.
"When one lives in a metropolitan area well served by dog trainers familiar with all available options for housetraining many types of dogs, it is difficult to appreciate the value of making certified professional dog training services accessible and affordable to others living in more sparsely populated areas," Ms. Podolsky explained. "In some regions, local dog trainers are unfamiliar with teaching little dogs to eliminate indoors on pads or via the use of another indoor potty system...Since lack of reliable housetraining can cost a dog its home, I felt it was important to find a way to extend The Cultured Canine's reach so we serve as many communities and dogs as possible."
