FrostByte Media’s Musical Ensemble “Bowfire” Kicks Off 2012 U.S. Tour March 8th in San Antonio, Texas

FrostByte Media Inc. - Bowfire, the amazing violin/fiddle ensemble made up of the leading names in each genre of modern string playing will kick off their 2012 tour March 8, opening at the Bourne Champion Auditorium in San Antonio, Texas followed by 3 shows with the Houston Symphony. The group has 18 scheduled performances in the Southern U.S. throughout the month of March including stops in Texas, Florida, Arkansas and Alabama.
Bowfire is the total string experience composed of virtuoso string players who are at the forefront of their respective styles, combined with equally gifted and respected accompanists on keyboards, bass, drums, guitars and cello. Fiddlers in the company are world-class step and tap dancers. This avalanche of talent is brought together under the guidance of Creator and Artistic Director, Lenny Solomon.
Their performance takes its audiences on a musical journey that moves seamlessly from Jazz, Classical, Bluegrass, Celtic, Rock, Gypsy, World, Texas Swing, Ottawa Valley and Cape Breton styles and mixes in incredible step dancing and a beautiful voice. All of this gets wrapped around a fast-paced show with first class production values that include great sound, choreography, dramatic lighting, set design and costumes.
Bowfire has enjoyed many highly successful touring seasons since their U.S. debut in New York in 2001, and is touring North America, with over 100 performance dates scheduled for this year.
