Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage President Kris Vogt Announced as Man of the Year Candidate for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Sacramento Chapter
Sacramento, CA, March 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage announced today that Kris Vogt, president of the company’s Sacramento/Tahoe region and a native of Elk Grove, has been nominated as a Man of the Year candidate for the Sacramento Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
Now through May 12, Vogt and his campaign team will work to raise as much money as possible for LLS with a goal of $60,000. Each dollar raised is considered a vote for Vogt’s campaign. The Man & Woman of the Year competition is held each year in LLS chapters around the country in honor of The Boy & Girl of the Year – local children who are blood cancer survivors. All monies raised stay in the local LLS chapter.
As part of his campaign, Vogt and his support team will hold several fundraising events throughout the Sacramento area, which will be open to the public. From May 4 to 5, Vogt, an accomplished marathon runner, will run for 24 hours on a course that will start at Sutter Medical Center and wind through Folsom and Sacramento.

Our hope is to raise as much money as possible to support those who have been diagnosed, as well as their families. Our ultimate goal is to one day find a cure and supporting LLS may help do just that.”
The announcement of the winners will be made at the Grand Finale Celebration Gala at The Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel on May 12. The event is open to the public and tickets may be purchased by visiting www.krisvogt.com.
Vogt, a lifelong resident of Elk Grove, attended Joseph Kerr Middle School and Elk Grove High School. He started his real estate career more than 20 years ago at the Elk Grove office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, and was promoted to managing broker after just six years in business.
