IQMS to Offer ELCAS Training Courses
Sunderland, United Kingdom, March 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Recently the Ministry of Defence has announced the ELCAS (Enhanced Learning Credits Administration) initiative to promote lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces.
Designed to help veterans and current members of the armed forces alike, these credits issued by the Ministry of Defence are part of the current governments drive to train armed forces members to improve their skills and employment prospects. The aim is to reduce the number of ex-military individuals being unemployed by providing the skills to enable them to obtain work when leaving the armed forces.
Courses eligible to be paid for with ELC Scheme credits include IRCA registered Lead Auditor courses including the IQMS ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor course.
As these are public training courses, you do not need to be associated with a particular business or organisation in order to attend. Courses can be attended without prior experience or knowledge and are open to all as they are public courses.
Training courses are held across the UK as training providers work to ensure as many delegates as possible can attend the training sessions.
IQMS have announced that they are now approved Learnig Providers and can accept ELC Scheme credits as complete payment for one of their courses.
IQMS will offer ELC funded delegates a 1 day Foundation Course in another discipline free of charge.
Geoff Hill, Managing Director of IQMS, said: “We are glad to provide training that accepts ELC Scheme credits to support the MOD and the Armed Forces.” If you are not part of the ELC Scheme then you may still attend a training course however will be charged at the usual rate for attending the course.
IQMS offers training courses across the UK, these are available as public training courses or can be delivered as in house training courses.
