New Online Photography Community
London, United Kingdom, March 08, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Shutterloop is the place to share your ongoing photography work with other photographers, you can follow other’s work and share your comments, ask questions, join monthly briefs and participate in promoting and showing photographic work to other users.
The idea of Shutterloop was to establish a website that can help Student and amateur/semi professional photographers promote their work around the world. Shutterloop is a Princess Trust supported business, The Founder participated on the "The Enterprise Programme" and any publication that can be giving will greatly be appreciated.
Signing up to become a member is free and is a simple process. Once an account is created it allows you to upload photographs, ask other members questions, start a discussion or enter briefs. The majority of questions usually range from the technical side of photography “What will Canon release to match the Nikon D800?” or “Going on holiday and need a new Camera?”
Building your own website can be expensive especially for students and non professionals and so with Shutterloop the website allows you to upload work build a portfolio and share whether that be in university or college or to show work to a potential client.
Note from the Founder:
After studying photography for two years (HNC/HND) at Havering College in Essex followed by a degree in photography at the University of East London (UEL). During my time I found it difficult to show pieces of current photographic projects or even to ask other photographers advice or questions. Simple things such as help with ideas for projects or does this picture need better lighting. There also seems to be a lack of UK/European based Photography community’s most reside in the United States. Shutterloop promotes students using the site and being involved, we are currently trying to secure funding to run student based photography competitions where the winners will win prizes but they will also win prizes for there university’s or college’s.
