Nonprofit Mobile Fitness Academy Hits the Street to Fight Childhood Obesity
Daddy’s Girl – is pleased to announce their 2012 Spring Fitness Academy school tour, benefiting father – daughters in the Washington, D.C area.
Washington, DC, March 08, 2012 --(PR.com)-- This spring, Daddy’s Girl, a D.C. based nonprofit organization, will be hosting a mobile Fitness Academy Program to address, and combat, the high obesity rate of girls and young women while encouraging active and healthy lifestyles for both dads and daughters. In the months of April and May, Daddy’s Girl will host a variety of professionally taught fitness classes at schools throughout the Washington DC area free of charge. The program consists of three group exercise classes designed especially for fathers and daughters that focus on strength training, dance and movement, and Yoga/balance training. Every class is taught by highly trained, certified fitness trainers and fitness staff.

Daddy’s Girl hosts several special events during the year that encourages dads and daughters to engage, explore, and express while having fun and creating lifelong memories. They are currently inviting elementary schools, middle schools and high schools in the Washington, DC area who would be interested in taking part in their Health Academy Fitness tour to sign up for the program.
