Cable & Wireless Installs New Regional Messaging Gateway in the Caribbean
Proven Technology from Exomi LLC Enhances Management and Rapid Roll-out for Advanced Mobile Services.
Espoo, Finland, November 07, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Cable & Wireless today announced the integration of a state-of-the-art messaging gateway which will enable the company to provide its bmobile customers with access to more content services, using more content providers, at a more rapid pace, to accommodate bmobile’s roadmap for messaging, games, music, photos, and other content. Finland-based Exomi, a global leader in providing mobile solutions to telecoms operators, has partnered with Cable & Wireless to install the Exomi Messaging Gateway (EMG,) a platform for the provisioning, delivery, management, and charging of messaging and content services.

The new platform will provide access to bmobile customers located in Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & Grenadines, and Turks & Caicos.
