Gina is an animal-lover and the owner of two Llhasa Apso mixes who decided to join the growing pet-sitting trend after she was laid off from a high level job in commercial real estate.

"It's a classic story," she said. "I just moved to Austin and had two dogs. I had to work a lot of hours and I heard of a pet-sitting service and it was the best thing I ever did."
