River Expeditions Announces the Return of "Terrific Tuesdays" with Special Pricing for Whitewater Rafting Trips on the New River Gorge, WV
The 2012 Whitewater Rafting season is almost here! To celebrate its arrival, West Virginia whitewater rafting outfitter River Expeditions is announcing the return of “Terrific Tuesdays.” Every Tuesday throughout the entire 2012 season, guests can buy one New River single day river rafting trip at regular price, and get a second trip at half price.
Oak Hill, WV, March 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- A white water rafting trip is a great way to get away from it all and enjoy a day of fun and excitement. Rafting enthusiasts, as well as people new to whitewater rafting, can experience the exhilaration of a day on the river with River Expeditions in the New River Gorge in West Virginia.
River Expeditions offers rafting trips on the New River daily from April through October. Every Tuesday throughout the entire 2012 season, Terrific Tuesdays gives rafters the opportunity to buy one New River single day whitewater rafting trip at regular price, and get a second trip at half price. White water rafting involves navigating a stretch of river on an inflatable raft. Most trips last about 5-7 hours, including lunch. No experience is necessary on the milder sections of the river although there are plenty of thrills for the "adrenaline junkies" in the wilder sections of the New River. Although being able to swim is helpful, many non-swimmers raft with River Expeditions each year since each guest is given all necessary safety equipment: a Coast Guard approved Type V Life Jacket, Paddle and Helmet.
