Los Angeles, CA, March 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Suspense Publishing announces "Alter Ego" from Debut Author Tory Allyn on sale March 13th, 2012 wherever EBooks are sold.
Three murder victims are found with unusual physical characteristics. FBI agent Jack Stanwick has been handed the case. Realizing he will have to go outside of the brotherhood to solve this case, he hires three detectives from the Davenport Detective Agency to aide him.
During their preliminary investigation, they stumble upon a group of men that call themselves M.A.G.O.C. who are involved with a high ranking official that is involved in a governmental conspiracy. As they dig further, they come upon Prescott Chemicals where an elixir that was discovered in the Amazon Rainforest by the Mayapo natives is being transformed into a solution to be used on the President with dire consequences.
While investigating a lead, the detectives accidentally come into contact with the elixir and experience a change to their bodies and mind that will cause some comical and permanent issues. With the assistance of a beautiful journalist with a local newspaper and a bitter French physicist, the detectives come upon the location of the enemies who are trying everything within their power to stay under the radar. The detectives finally solve the case, but unfortunately, one of the perpetrators escape with the elixir and a secret that could possibly hit one of the detectives, right where he lives.
Debut author, Tory Allyn lives in upstate New York with his family and friends. He was an English major at C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville, New York. His hobbies are writing, reading, and spiritual affairs. He is currently working on his second novel, a sequel to “Alter Ego” entitled “Altered States.”
